The House Volume 2, Maze of Doors is a physical interactive narrative game that challenges a player’s sense of space and language. Set inside a mysterious winding house inhabited by alien-like creatures, a deep and complex systems of languages and numbers creates an unravelling puzzle mystery that changes how the player perceives the House as they play. Building upon the original tab flipping structure, the new version simplifies through flipping around the book directly as well as writing down items on the player’s inventory. The game aims to immerse players into not only using items but to actually be in conversation with the book’s characters and interacting with them that leads to different results and endings – of which there are 12!
